Pathea Games Unveils the Next Chapter in the My Time Series: My Time at Evershine

Recently, Pathea Games made an exciting announcement regarding the future of the My Time series, which includes the beloved titles My Time At Portia and My Time At Sandrock. The forthcoming entry, titled My Time at Evershine, promises to be an ambitious open-world simulation game. To make this vision a reality, the developer is reaching out to its community for support through a Kickstarter campaign, aiming to meet and exceed both fan and developer expectations.

Pathea Games disclosed that the budget for My Time at Evershine will range between seven and eight million dollars. This comes after their previous venture, My Time at Sandrock, which had an overall budget of twelve million dollars, inclusive of the contributions solicited through Kickstarter. The ongoing crowdfunding initiative is crucial, as it enables the studio to gather additional financial resources from fans eager to contribute, which, in turn, helps enhance the game’s features.

In a recent Reddit post, Pathea Games emphasized the learning experiences gained from developing My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. They stated, “With the creation of the third game, we are applying all that we’ve learned to not just enrich the content but also improve the entire gaming experience.”

The team is optimistic that players will fall in love with My Time at Evershine and has expressed gratitude for continued community support throughout this journey.

Initial previews of the game suggest that My Time at Evershine is set to build upon the strengths of its predecessors. The developer is committed to taking player feedback seriously and proactively incorporates it into the new project. One of the most anticipated features is the addition of multiplayer functionality for the story campaign, allowing up to four players to engage in the experience together—an exciting advancement that fans have long requested.

While players will still assume the role of a builder as they did in My Time at Sandrock, the new title will provide a more authoritative role as players take on the responsibilities of a governor. Gamers will have the opportunity to design their own structures, welcome new settlers, and manage different territories—all aimed at safeguarding their community, known as the Alliance, from threats posed by the Duvos Empire. Balancing the needs of their settlers will also be crucial to success.

My Time at Evershine aims to deliver a more adventurous experience than previous titles, granting players heightened autonomy and responsibility. It also introduces new and improved features based on fans’ requests, such as a wider array of romanceable characters and a more mature art style, elements that are sure to delight long-time fans.

As development progresses, the challenges ahead for both players and Pathea Games seem significant. With so much at stake, anticipation is building for this latest installment in the My Time series. Are you excited about what My Time at Evershine has to offer? Share your thoughts with us!
