The Knight in a Storm Dream Patrol presents quite the conundrum. While the enemy is relatively simple to defeat, players aiming to collect every chest for resources such as Astrites and Monnaie in WuWa will need to fulfill all challenge objectives. Here’s how you can conquer this challenge.
How to Finish Dream Patrol: Knight in a Storm
You can locate this Dream Patrol in the Shores of Last Breath area, situated in the Fagaceae Peninsula, just east of Ragunna City. Look for the crossed swords icon on your map to identify the challenge, which will appear once you activate the Resonance Nexus in that region. The quickest route is to teleport to the nearby Tacet Field, known for dropping the new Sonata set for Carlotta builds. Keep in mind that you need to complete the Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms quest before accessing this area.
In this Dream Patrol encounter, the Questless Knight battles similarly to the other foes in Rinascita, so you shouldn’t have any trouble defeating it. Here are the objectives for this fight:
- Reach Battle Rank S for more than 10 seconds – Increase Battle Rank by performing perfect dodges, parries, and abilities (including Intro/Outro skills).
- Perform 3 Counterattacks that interrupt the knight’s weapon enhancement – Parry the knight’s attacks when its weapon is buffed.
- Immobilize an enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG – Use your character’s ultimate to stun the knight (deplete the white bar under its health bar).
Countering the Knight’s Enhanced Weapon
In the midst of battle, the knight will call forth three swords and choose one to wield. This indicates that its weapon has been powered up. While the weapon is enhanced, the knight will launch aerial lunge attacks at you—this is your perfect opportunity to counter. When the parry indicators above the knight align, strike with one of your attacks to execute a successful counterattack. Repeat this process three times to complete the challenge.
