In Fortnite Save the World (StW), there are numerous Side Quests and Challenges designed to help you earn valuable rewards, including V-Bucks. While some of these quests offer items like bacon or experience, others provide the opportunity to add V-Bucks to your balance. As you progress through the main questline, new challenges and side quests will be unlocked, but keep in mind that once you complete them, the V-Buck income from these activities will eventually run out.
V-Buck Earning Side Quests

- Storm Shield Defense 7-10: Available in Stonewood, Plankerton, Canny Valley, and Twine Peaks, these missions occur outside the main questline and reward you with 100 V-Bucks for each completion. The 10th Storm Shield Defense in each area offers an even larger reward of 150 V-Bucks.
Repetitive Challenges with V-Buck Rewards
In addition to side quests, Fortnite StW also includes Challenges that can be completed repeatedly, up to 20 stages. Each stage offers rewards, including V-Bucks. Here’s a list of notable V-Buck earning challenges:
- Mission Accomplished!: Complete a specified number of missions to receive 50 V-Bucks for each stage completion. This challenge repeats 20 times.
- Hold The Door!: Successfully complete Storm Shield Defenses for 50 V-Bucks per stage. This challenge is also repetitive, offering rewards for up to 20 stages.
- Toxic Treasures: Destroy a set number of Mimics during successful missions. Each stage completion grants you 30 V-Bucks, and the challenge repeats 20 times.
Overall, by completing these challenges, you can earn up to 2,600 V-Bucks over time. Additionally, there are other useful challenges like Eldritch Abominations, which rewards you with an Active Powercell for killing Mist Monsters, and Leave No One Behind, offering 10 Bacons and a good amount of Survivor XP for saving survivors.
