Players Can Sign Up for Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Tomorrow

The sign-ups for the initial Elden Ring Nightreign network test will begin tomorrow, January 10. Keep in mind, though, that this test will only be accessible on fewer than half of the intended platforms for Elden Ring Nightreign.

In December, during The Game Awards 2024, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco revealed Elden Ring Nightreign. This exciting new title is set to offer a co-op Soulsborne adventure in The Lands Between, specifically crafted for teams of three players. Fans can look forward to its release in 2025.

In line with the tradition of multiplayer games, Elden Ring Nightreign will host at least one network test before its official release. Signups for this exclusive beta will begin on Friday, January 10. From that day, eager fans can register for the test on the official website. These types of betas usually have a capped number of participants, but neither FromSoftware nor Bandai Namco has revealed how many testers will be chosen. It’s possible that this detail may not be disclosed at all.

How To Sign Up For Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test

  1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website from January 10 onward.
  2. Register for the test while indicating your preferred platform.
  3. Wait for an email confirming your enrollment in the test.
  4. Participate in the test in February 2025.

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Is Limited to Only 2 Platforms

Those fans who manage to get in can expect their confirmation email to arrive by February 2025, coinciding with the planned test date. We should see specific beta dates released in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, the test will only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S users. While the game is also set to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, this test will only cover a small portion of the total platforms. Furthermore, FromSoftware has stated that Elden Ring Nightreign will not feature cross-platform multiplayer, so players will be limited to interacting with others on the same console.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, players shouldn’t anticipate that any advancements from the network test will transfer to the final game. FromSoftware hasn’t provided any details on whether there will be additional betas for Elden Ring Nightreign in the future, but it’s certainly a possibility.

Along with the lack of cross-platform multiplayer, there’s another limitation regarding party sizes in the game. Elden Ring Nightreign is designed for solo play or teams of three, as FromSoftware has decided not to balance the game for two-player groups. It’s currently unknown if the upcoming network test will add any more gameplay restrictions.
