The Prize Drop event in Monopoly Go pops up periodically, generally every 3 to 4 weeks. During this event, you’ll collect special Prize Drop tokens, which are then used in the Peg-E Prize Drop game. Dropping these tokens helps you rack up points and unlock a variety of rewards.
↖ How to Earn More Free Prize Drop Tokens/Chips
To maximize your rewards during the Prize Drop event, you’ll need to know all the possible ways to gather extra Prize Drop tokens. Here’s how you can boost your collection:
Major Events
Head over to the Monopoly Go Events Schedule to see what main event is currently running. You’ll find information on the available Prize Drop tokens under the rewards and milestone section for each event when a Prize Drop is live.
The event details will include a list of all the available Prize Drop rewards and how many points are required to unlock each one.
Tournaments
During the Prize Drop, tournaments provide an excellent opportunity to gather even more Prize Drop tokens. Be sure to check out the current tournament’s rewards and milestone list, as these often include tokens when the Prize Drop is in play.
Shop Gifts
You can claim a free gift from the shop every eight hours. While the Prize Drop event is ongoing, these free gifts may contain additional Prize Drop tokens. To find this offer, tap on the shop icon and swipe the top panel to the right until you reach the last screen, where you’ll either find a gift waiting for you or a countdown timer indicating when the next one will be available.
Quick Wins
Another way to collect Prize Drop tokens is through Quick Wins. If you know a Prize Drop event is scheduled for later in the day, hold off on completing your Quick Wins until the event begins, as the rewards may include extra tokens.
Earning Tokens During the Event
As you participate in the Prize Drop game, you’ll have more chances to collect additional tokens by completing bumper hits or achieving milestone goals.
↖ How to Play Prize Drop
To get started, choose your preferred multiplier, then decide which drop zone you want to aim for. Our go-to strategy is to pick a drop point that’s furthest from bumpers that offer money rewards, as this increases your chances of hitting bumpers that provide Prize Drop tokens or dice.
You’ll score points in the event by activating bumpers and collecting cash rewards. As you accumulate more points, you’ll progress through the milestones, earning rewards displayed in the bar at the bottom of the screen. There are typically two sets of milestones, so after you complete the first one, another set will appear, allowing you to continue earning rewards.
If you’ve got plenty of tokens, consider using the x30 multiplier to increase your chances of hitting both sides of a bumper in a single drop.

↖ How To get More Points in Peg-E Prize Drop
The points you rack up during the Peg-E Prize Drop are influenced by the number of bumper hits and how many bumpers you manage to fully light up. The more hits and completions you get, the more points you’ll accumulate. Additionally, the slot where your token lands plays a role—slots closer to the center give more points, as they correspond to higher cash rewards. The center slot offers the most, while outer slots provide fewer points.
Every time you drop a token into the game, you’re guaranteed to score some points, but hitting those bumpers and landing in prime slots will maximize your rewards.
↖ How to Earn Free Peg-E Tokens for the Prize Drop Event
Here’s how you can stock up on Peg-E tokens:
- Leaderboard Tournaments: Climbing the leaderboard by hitting certain milestones will earn you Peg-E tokens, and high rankings will net you even more.
- Solo Tournaments: While these tournaments don’t have leaderboards, you’ll still need to hit milestones to collect tokens.
- Daily Quick Wins: In addition to regular dice rolls, completing quick daily objectives will grant you Peg-E tokens.
- Daily Free Gifts: Similar to quick wins, daily gifts often include both dice rolls and Peg-E tokens.
↖ Tips and Strategies for the Peg-E Prize Drop
If you’re new to Monopoly Go, here’s a brief rundown: your objective is to drop the token from the top of the board and aim for the jackpot slot at the bottom center. As your token bounces, try to hit the bumpers on the sides, which will offer instant rewards. The more points you earn, the faster you’ll reach milestones, and lighting up the bumpers will boost your score.
Participating in the Peg-E Prize Drop can be both thrilling and a bit repetitive, especially if you run out of tokens. If you’re unable to participate in the higher multiplier options like 10x or 20x due to a lack of tokens, you might feel tempted to stop playing. But, if you’ve gathered plenty of tokens, you can jump into the high-stakes games and hit your milestones much faster.
For those with an ample supply of tokens, we recommend going all in at 30x. A solid strategy is to aim your token towards the right bumper for a better shot at hitting the jackpot while keeping dice rolls and Peg-E tokens focused on the right side. Cash rewards should be aimed at the left bumper. This approach has been tried and tested by many players, and we’ve given it a go ourselves. Let us know how it works for you!
