One of the standout features of Path of Exile 2 is the Currency Exchange, which lets you transform your Currencies into higher tiers for trading with others or for crafting materials. However, even though it’s crucial for maintaining a robust Currency collection, the current exchange rates can be somewhat confusing to navigate.
Since the PoE 2 Currency Exchange rates are always changing based on market conditions, the best way to find out the current rates for any Currency combination is to check the prices in-game.
How To Check Currency Exchange Rates In PoE 2
Once you hit Cruel Difficulty, have a chat with the gambling vendor in any Act to unlock the Currency Exchange. In the Currency Exchange menu, you’ll find two boxes designated for Currencies.
Start by clicking the left box to pick the Currency you’re interested in or the one you want to trade your current Currencies for. For example, if you want to check the price of a Divine Orb, click on the left item tab and select Divine Orb from the list provided.
To view the currencies you have in your Inventory and Stashes, simply click on the appropriate item tab in the Currency Exchange menu. For instance, if you want to find out how much a Divine Orb costs in Exalted Orbs, just select Exalted Orb from the list of currencies available in your Stash.
You can find the conversion ratio for your chosen currencies displayed between the item selection boxes. To acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, simply pay the amount of Exalted Orbs shown on the right side of the ratio.
You can also do this in reverse! If you possess a Divine Orb and wish to trade it for Exalted Orbs, simply add Exalted Orb to your “Want” list and choose your Divine Orb from the “Have” list.
Currency exchange rates are in a constant state of flux, so the value of one currency compared to another can shift dramatically from one hour to the next. Make it a habit to check regularly during your gameplay to snag a fantastic deal on a strong currency item.
If a currency pair isn’t available, like Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom, you won’t see a ratio, and the exchange won’t be valid.
