Following the successful Futurama collaboration, Fortnite is gearing up for another major update in Chapter 4, Season 3. This time, the spotlight is on Jujutsu Kaisen, the popular anime series. ↖ Release Date and Downtime
The Fortnite v25.30 update is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. The update will begin at 9 AM BST / 4 AM ET / 1 AM PT. As usual, matchmaking will be temporarily disabled during the update, and players can expect a downtime of around one to two hours.

As with previous updates, v25.30 will bring new Reality Augments into Fortnite. Although leaks suggest the introduction of two new Augments, fans are hoping for the return of previously disabled ones, such as Primal Companion and Wildwasp Weaponry. These Augments add fresh strategies and mechanics to the game, giving players more ways to outsmart their opponents.

The 25.30 update will also shake up Fortnite’s weapon lineup. The Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun, a feature from the Futurama crossover, is set to be removed.
