In celebration of the seventh anniversary of Battle Royale, running from today until October 1st, Epic Games has introduced a series of exciting Birthday Quests. These new quests are an excellent opportunity for players to earn substantial XP and a variety of free cosmetic items, featuring a unique emote, back bling, and a dazzling pickaxe.
A total of six quests have been made available, most of which are quite simple. However, one quest appears to be either glitchy or dependent on a bit of luck. This article will provide a comprehensive guide to accomplishing each Birthday Quest and the rewards that await you upon completion.

↖ Quest 1: Wishing the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday
The first task involves wishing the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday seven times. Although there is no specific option for this, it may seem confusing. Players simply need to perform any emote while on the bus, similar to how they would thank the Bus Driver. This can be repeated across seven different games to fulfill the quest.

↖ Quest 2: Throw Birthday Presents or Open Chests
For the second challenge, players must either throw seven Birthday Presents or open seven chests. Given that Birthday Presents are currently quite rare, opening chests is the more feasible approach. Simply focus on opening any seven chests to complete this task.
↖ Quest 3: Travel Distance While Airborne with Balloons from Birthday Medallion
The third quest is the most challenging, as it requires a Birthday Present. These presents can be discovered in chests or as ground loot. However, there are no set locations for these presents, making it a game of chance. After extensive searching, many players have only found a handful.

Once you obtain a Birthday Present, throw it on the ground. Inside, you’ll discover a Birthday Medallion that automatically attaches balloons to you. Jumping will then allow you to cover the necessary distance of 777 meters while airborne to complete the quest.

↖ Quest 4: Eat Slices of Birthday Cake
In this quest, players must consume seven slices of birthday cake. There are ten cakes scattered throughout various Named Locations, each surrounded by slices you can eat to restore health and gain shields. Simply eat seven slices to complete this challenge. ↖ Quest 5: Release or Pop Balloons
This quest requires players to release or pop seven balloons. To release a balloon, make use of the Birthday Medallion and press ‘Ctrl’ (on PC) to detach a balloon. Alternatively, to pop balloons, simply use your pickaxe on the balloons found around each birthday cake.

↖ Quest 6: Reveal Players with Fireworks from the Flare Gun
For the final quest, players must reveal seven opponents using the newly introduced Flare Gun. According to Epic Games, this weapon can only be obtained from Birthday Presents. Unfortunately, many players have encountered issues with this quest, as the Flare Gun does not seem to appear in the presents despite finding other weapons and the Birthday Medallion.
The good news is that completing this quest is not required to earn all the rewards, as finishing the other challenges will suffice.
