What Are Tribes in Family Island?

In Family Island, a tribe is essentially a group consisting of up to 10 players. By joining or creating a tribe, players can connect with others in the game, exchange tips and strategies, and engage in discussions using the in-game chat feature. The tribe chat window serves as a communication hub, where tribe members can help each other with advice and gameplay techniques.

How to Unlock the Tribe Feature

To access the Tribe feature in Family Island, players must first reach level 10. Once this milestone is achieved, the Tribe option will become available in the game. At this point, players can either join an existing tribe or create their own tribe.

How to Join or Create a Tribe

Joining a Tribe:
To join a tribe, tap on the Tribe icon located in the bottom right corner of the game screen. Then, click on the “SEARCH” tab, which allows you to browse available tribes. Select a tribe that interests you and join it. However, if the tribe has already reached its maximum capacity of 10 players, you won’t be able to join that specific tribe.

Creating a Tribe:
If you’d prefer to lead your own tribe, you can create one by tapping the Tribe icon and then selecting the “CREATE” button. Note that creating a tribe requires Rubies, so make sure you have enough before proceeding.

Types of Tribes in Family Island

There are two types of tribes in Family Island:

  • Private Tribe: To join a private tribe, you need approval from the Tribe’s Chief. Only after your request is accepted can you become a member of that tribe.
  • Public Tribe: These tribes are open to all players, and you can join immediately without needing approval.

How to Leave a Tribe

If you ever want to leave a tribe, simply click on your tribe’s name and select the “LEAVE” button. For Tribe Chiefs, it’s important to transfer leadership to another tribe member before leaving the tribe, as the tribe cannot exist without a leader.

Final Thoughts on Tribes in Family Island

The Tribe feature in Family Island not only adds a layer of social interaction to the game but also allows players to collaborate and share useful strategies. Whether you’re joining a public tribe, creating your own private group, or managing tribe leadership, tribes offer a fun way to connect with fellow players.
