Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Fans Want a Classic Perk to Return

Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are expressing a desire for the classic Fast Hands perk to make a comeback. Many feel it’s frustrating that this perk doesn’t enhance reload speed in multiplayer games, labeling the current setup as “dumb.” In earlier iterations, both Fast Hands and Sleight of Hand allowed for quicker reloads, but Black Ops 6 has chosen to limit Fast Hands to just faster weapon swaps and a longer fuse time for returning enemy grenades.

Players of Black Ops 6 have faced issues with the game’s perks before. Shortly after the latest installment of the Call of Duty series was released, fans expressed their frustration over the perk allocation. Popular perks like Flak Jacket, Ninja, Ghost, and Tac Mask, which have a long-standing history in Call of Duty, were all crammed into a single slot. This left players feeling frustrated as they had to make tough choices between these beloved perks.

Black Ops 6 Players Want Faster Reloads With Fast Hands Perk

Fast Hands is a well-liked perk in Black Ops 6, but many players think it could be improved by enabling quicker weapon reloads. The Black Ops series hasn’t featured a faster reload perk since Black Ops 2, although Fast Hands and Sleight of Hand have provided quicker reloads in other Call of Duty games, like Modern Warfare 2 from 2022. Recently, a Reddit user named Dominic294 expressed frustration, stating that the lack of faster reloads with Fast Hands is “so dumb.” Another player, Nocturnal, added that reloading in Black Ops 6 takes “way too long.”

Several players have pointed out that the Black Ops series has introduced attachments like Fast Mags for quicker reloads. However, many gamers responded by expressing their desire for a “decent-sized magazine” alongside the ability to reload swiftly. Since this is a deliberate design decision by Treyarch Studios, it’s improbable that the perk will be enhanced, as it could significantly change the dynamics of multiplayer in Black Ops 6.

However, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time a perk in Black Ops 6 has been modified in response to player input. Almost right away, players raised concerns about the Recon Combat Specialty perk, which enabled them to spot enemies through walls for a short duration after respawning. Initially, this perk was active for 2 seconds, providing a considerable advantage. But as it quickly became the go-to choice in Black Ops 6, Treyarch implemented multiple nerfs, and now the Recon perk only functions for half a second.
