Adin Ross Promises to Stay on Kick ‘For Good This Time’

Adin Ross has announced that he intends to remain on Kick “for good.” Although there were rumors about him possibly leaving the platform, his recent return has solidified his commitment, and he has exciting plans ahead.

Adin Ross, a well-known and often debated figure in the streaming world, made the move to Kick after being permanently banned from Twitch in 2023. His arrival, along with other popular streamers like xQc, played a significant role in Kick’s rapid growth. Throughout 2023, Ross thrived on the platform, but in 2024, he unexpectedly departed, leaving his fans wondering what he would do next. This sparked speculation about a possible rift between Ross and Kick’s CEO, Ed Craven, but those rumors seem to have no basis in reality.

During a livestream with Craven on December 21, 2024, Ross announced that he has decided to stick with Kick after all, reversing his earlier hints about leaving the platform indefinitely. He later reassured his fans in a tweet that he will be back on Kick and intends to “stay for good this time.” On the weekend of January 4, 2025, Ross returned to livestreaming for the first time in 74 days, joining fellow creators Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy. With Ross committed to Kick for the foreseeable future, any speculation about him switching to other streaming platforms can now be put to rest.

Adin Ross Will Stick with Kick and Has “Bigger” Plans to Announce

The buzz around Ross’ comeback is heightened by his tweet hinting at “something even bigger” on the horizon, though specifics remain under wraps. Fans are speculating that this might relate to Ross’ Brand Risk boxing events, which he has mentioned as a major initiative he wants to grow with support from Kick. After encountering legal issues with Misfits Boxing regarding unsanctioned events earlier in 2024, there’s hope that his future Brand Risk projects will steer clear of similar challenges.

The fact that Ross has decided to stick with Kick is undoubtedly a relief for his supporters and the streaming platform, which has been climbing the ranks thanks to collaborations with popular content creators. Co-founder Bijan Tehrani revealed a few months ago that Kick’s ultimate goal is to either outshine or purchase Twitch. Although this is a bold aspiration, Kick’s upward momentum makes it seem more achievable.
