Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and curate large volumes of healthcare data from EHRs, claims, and public datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reproducible data pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to translate research questions into analytic solutions.
- Document methodologies, data dictionaries, and analysis results for internal reporting and external publications.
- Assist in the design and execution of pilot studies and randomized trials.
- Prepare visualizations and dashboards for executive leadership and client presentations.
- Stay current on emerging data standards (HL7, FHIR, OMOP) and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or research within the healthcare domain.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and privacy regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
Desired Skills
- Experience with R, SAS, or other statistical software.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Prior exposure to big data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud‑based analytics.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and model deployment.
- Project management experience in a research or clinical setting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
